Gemalink Deep-sea Port

Gemalink International Port is a joint venture between Gemadept Corporation (Vietnam) and the world’s leading partner, CMA -Terminals (France). Immediately after going into operation in phase 1, Gemalink has become the largest deep-sea port in Cai Mep – Thi Vai area. When phase 2 is completed, Gemalink will be the largest deep-sea port in the country with an area up to 72 hectares and a capacity of 3 million Teus/year. Gemalink is also equipped with the most modern facilities according to European standards. In particular, the berth system is designed to have a dedicated berths for feeders and barges, to help optimize the productivity, avoid the widespread congestion that no other seaport currently has.

Gemalink is a source of pride for Vietnam, recognized as one of the Top 19 ports worldwide that can handle the largest container vessels, up to 250,000 DWT. As a Green and Smart port, Gemalink is increasingly affirming its role as the most important transit hub for goods in Vietnam and the region.
