On May 15, 2023, Gemalink for the first time welcomed the mother vessel CMA CGM ANTOINE DE SAINT EXUPERY (Tonnage: 197,936 DWT; Length: 400m, Width: 59m) successfully docked.

The mining process took place safely and smoothly, releasing the vesel on time as expected.

Continuously welcoming new vessels of large size and tonnage ahead of phase 2 has been proving the ability and efficiency of the Gemalink team.

This is also a good sign with the hope that there will be new service routes trusted by shipping lines to operate at Gemalink in the near future.
